kyro
what i mean is. the vpn dailer (for LAN not modem) in windows is pretty simple. i need this to start my internet connection ( gotta connect via VPN on ISP server) in windows i use internet connection wizard and select the option as shown in screenshot. but for linux what shud i use? remember i dont need to connect to cisco vpn router (cause thats the answer google throws back and i dont need that) also i have tried compiling and installing pptp from as told on http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/ . but it doesnt help. it connects but doesnt go further. (meaning there is no real connection established) has anyone got blocked by this problem and found a answer? i am desparately looking for some option. (BTW the ISP guys dont know anything regarding dailing from linux, they just reply we dont know.. grrr) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/318733-vpn-dialer-in-linux-whats-the-option/ Share on other sites
Shadrack
(BTW the ISP guys dont know anything regarding dailing from linux, they just reply we dont know.. grrr) Does that surprise you? pptpclient is the only client I know of, and I don't think I could get it working either. First of all, what distribution are you running? Have you tried compiling it from source? -nic Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/318733-vpn-dialer-in-linux-whats-the-option/#findComment-586003526 Share on other sites
