With a custom skin it could be done. It's basically just making the styles the same. I've noticed this happening in a few skins now, when you change the transparency on the taskbar it doesn't change the tray area, it stays solid. So it looks REALLY off when the taskbar is transparent but the tray is not. Is it a bug? Is the tray not able to be transparent in win7? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With the "non captioned window edge" on vista you're nearly there (1px white border is gone, thank you). Just need to add transparency and blur. It doesn't play too nicely with apps that have windows without captions (go to the task manager in Vista and double click on the background, you'll see what I mean) and please release a beta of sks7, coding the extra bits in wb7 skins ain't easy. And it would be nice if the start button faded in and out when I mouse over/out (on ALL OS's, or at least vista and 7).
