Here's a borderless window mod on XP:

Note that the contents of the browser are only separated from the desktop by a dropshadow (Y'z shadow).

greenreaper:

In the #SubStyle#.xml file go to the part name "FrameBottom".

Note the example below:

<PART Name="FrameBottom">

<Property Name="Borderonly" Value="True"/>

<Property Name="ImageCount" Value="10"/>

<Property Name="ImageFile" Value="frameBottom.bmp"/>

<Property Name="ImageLayout" Value="vertical"/>

<Property Name="SizingMargins" Value="10, 10, 0, 5"/>

<Property Name="SizingType" Value="stretch"/>

<Property Name="Transparent" Value="True"/>

<Property Name="TRANSPARENTCOLOR" Value="255 0 255"/>

</PART>

There are only two things that need adjustment: ImageCount and SizingMargins.

I'm sorry, I thought he was talking about using WindowBlinds. :)

The article is a nice hack. I think more msstyle skinners would make better skins if they looked deeply at how to modify the format (the same could be said for logons made with programs like LogonStudio).
