endtwist
Konfabulator or Samurize might do it for ya. Samurize isn't quite a "widget" app, but you may still want to look at it. amitsaraf32
Easy use with not much to tinker around with the settings - Konfabulator If you love messing around with stuff, stand back and say proudly "I made that !" then you need Samurize ! AFAIK both are not much of resource hogs, though if you make giant configs in Samurize, they can take up to 20-25 Mb of RAM. Still, much less than the 50 Mb you mentioned. Another word of advice - a RAM defragmenter like Memturbo or SuperRAM might come in handy if your system is sluggish. They work silently in the background and come in pretty handy. ev0|
It doesn't look quite as nice as the others, but it's more usable IMO and it sure uses alot less memory - Desktop Sidebar. xhobbitx
Avedesk and Samurize, the only two I have had experience with, and they always get the job done.
