Recommended Posts

I just got Ubuntu installed but I have no sound and I have no idea what to do. I was hoping someone could walk me through this, and I am a n00b so go slow :D

Same card I have ^_^

At a terminal, type alsamixer, scroll to the item labeled Analog/Digital Out, and toggle its mute. Exit mixer.

If that works, type sudo alsactl store to save your settings :D

Edit: :o 1000 posts :ninja:

I'm not seeing anything labeled Analog/Digital Out. Congratulations Seth Kinast!

EDIT: I found something called Audigy Analog/Digital Out is that the same thing?
