Using VS and WindowBlinds

does anyone know how to use a visual style, and then use a windowblinds skin to replace everything EXCEPT for the start menu?? i found some decent vista skins, but i wanna use the WB Arrow skin, to replace everything except for start menu. i tried changing option in WB, but i cant find the right options :no: :no:

I'm not sure if this is possible.. why don't you just grab SkinStudio, convert the msstyle to a WB format, and then (using SkinStudio) mix and match the pieces between the skins that you want.

Also, what msstyle are you trying to use the start menu of? If it's a Vista skin (like it sounds), there's probably already a WB wit hthe same startmenu AND the glass borders already.

i wanna use this Visual style for the start menu, and this WB skin. i like the way the arrow them is laid out, but rotkiv's star menu is more vistaish. is there no option in Wbto do this. btw, ive only started using custom windows skins, i dont think ill be able to do the job properly using skin studio.

For what you are looking for you actually you can mix and match without having to use SS too much. Use skinstudio to import that VS over to a WB theme. Then open the windowblinds config panel>xp overrides>check 'Always uses the xp taskbar defined in...' and use the pull down list to find that theme.

Then apply the changes. That will use the startmenu/taskbar of one theme and the rest of the other theme.
