Microsoft have finally laid rest to rumours suggesting a Blu-ray add on may be coming to the 360. Rumours began back in January when Peter Moore suggested in an interview that Microsoft would be willing to adapt to consumers needs. Coupled with that remark, and flagging sales of the HD-DVD format it would seem the simple solution to add a choice of Blu-ray.“We firmly stand behind the HD-DVD format as the best choice for consumers. Current reports indicating that Microsoft has a back-up plan which includes Blu-ray support are incorrect,” detailed the company.
