Earlier today, a new build of Windows 10, build 10158, was released to Insiders. We know that not everyone will install this release, but for those who are curious about the changes it brings with it, we have gallery posted below.
There are quite a few items that are new in this build including the dark theme for Edge, a few UI updates for Cortana, the digital assistant also now integrates with Office 365, photos app has been updated and various UI enhancements as well.
Continuum has had quite a few bugs squashed and animations have been polished up quite a bit when the OS is in tablet mode.
There is a new gesture on the Start menu, if you swipe up on the left side, this will open up 'all apps'; this also works in tablet mode as well. And if you right click on the setting shortcuts in the Action center, it will now provide you with an additional option to go to all settings or open the item.
As usual, we don't recommend installing this build on a daily driver even though we are approaching RTM. While it does appear to run well on our test machine, every PC is different and your experience may differ dramatically. But if you do install this release and find something new, make sure to send us a tip.
