According to reports flying around the Internet, Sonic Team is planning on announcing more than Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Pinball Party at the upcoming E3 video games trade show in May.
Sonic Team is said to be creating two new Sonic game developments. A spokesperson for Sega Europe was unavailable for comment, but Yuji Naka, the head of Sonic Team, has been rumoured to be discussing the possibility of Sonic X and a Sonic Trick Series.
In other blue hedgehog news, Sega Japan is keen to push the spiky one on TV and has announced an animated cartoon. According to Reuters, Yuji Naka wants to "make Sonic as big as Pokemon" and really push Sonic in Japan and overseas, to recreate the success of the Power Rangers and Pokemon.
