DreamCatcher Games has released the multiplayer demo for Painkiller featuring all of the fixes and add-ons from the 1.3 update as well as additional multiplayer features, such as spectator mode, demanded by competitive players. The demo supports play over LAN and the internet for up to 16 players and includes a dedicated demo server and Gamespy Arcade support. Also, it contains two maps from the retail version (DM_ cursed & DM_Sacred) and two gameplay modes (Free For All and The Light Bearer). Gamers can choose their Hellish Hero from one of four selectable player skins.
