DOOM 3 movie (updated)

There is a new movie trailer of DOOM 3 from G4techTV, showcasing the imminent first-person shooter sequel by id Software. The movie runs for a bit under three minutes, featuring several members of the development team (including co-owners John Carmack and Kevin Cloud) discussing the game's premise and features, interlaced with plenty of new, action-packed gameplay footage.

Updates

According to the article at MSNBC, the new iPod will also contain the following features:

Longer battery life (50%) through more efficient method of power conservation.

Increased averaged play time, now at 12 hours.

Multiple On-The-Go playlist support

Ability to delete songs off the playlist

Users will now be given a choice to play their tunes at 25% slower or faster.

Lower price: $399 for 40GB, and $299 for 20GB. The 15 GB model has been discontinued.

Personally, I am hoping that some of these new features will be made available to existing users through firmware updates. I guess we will just have wait and see...

I think it looks quite good, it's good they're doing it based on Doom1.

The registrant is a one Todd Hollenshead of ID Software as seen here, so yup it's certainly seems to be official. What it will have on it is anyones guess right now as unless I'm missing something it's just a count down to the US release date of Doom 3.

Meanwhile I'll just sit here and add 10 days to that release date.
