Sony has not announced anything to the press regarding Playstation but this may soon change. At a Tokyo press conference today, Koei
president Kiyoshi Komatsu stated that SCE is holding a conference next
week, and he expects to receive updates then.
"I really have no [new]
information on the PlayStation 3," said Komatsu.
"[But] SCE will be
holding a presentation next week on the 15th. We expect there will be
some new information regarding the PS3 then."
Whether SCE will be unveiling anything big during the meeting,
such as the widely rumored PS3 launch delay, is unknown at the current
time. Komatsu's final words during his conference today indicate that
SCE may itself still be unsure about what it will announce.
"I've been
consulted with SCE about what kind of details they should announce,"
said Komatsu.
"I've told them that I'm hoping they will make an
announcement that will heat up the game industry."

haha =p
Me? I'm going to stay neutral until the PlayStation 3's release, and follow nothing but the games for the console. After all, isn't that what it's about? No one is going to change anything Sony do by saying what they feel they have to say on the Internet, blogger X won't make Sony upgrade the graphics card, it's up to Sony what they make, and it's up to the consumer to buy it.
Make your decision when you've seen the final product, and cast opinions and discuss the games that have been announced. Failing that, do something else or go out and get some exercise.
.......... I wish.
Anything to change to market to make it more fun to play is good news. There wont be much playing of games on Playstations compared to a souly devoted nintendo games machine.
On a PS3 note, im excited to hear what they've got to say, i have no doubt that there console will be visually spectacular and hopefully better play than a 360.
The interface is complex, dark and glossy (that feels cold), and bloated. I really dislike the new explorer.
I really like XP though... nice blue and green colors.
But yes I can't play games without a keyboard and mouse
REPORT THE CONFERENCE ALREADY!
