Yes, seems as if all they did was make them all block letters with a newish gradient. Looks more moden I think still though. -

Yes, seems as if all they did was make them all block letters with a newish gradient. Looks more moden I think still though.
Sometimes you don't need to make massive changes to improve something =)
I like that they retained the eye, definately a good 'icon', that. -

That's TWICE you have misspelt modern......
Anyway, the new logo looks crap. I was expecting something a little more significant - not just a font change.

- As Martyn said above, they did not change the n to a capital letter. All they did was make it the same size as the VIDIA part and changed the font.

- I like the new logo, I too think it makes them seem more modern!
The logo now appears to show the corporate trademark in all capital letters -- at least more so than it did before. The previous logo appeared to show the trademark written as "nVIDIA," but the company had changed the official trademark to all capital letters (NVIDIA) several years ago.
The image below shows both the old (bottom) and the new (top) design.
