As had been previously rumoured to be coming, along with Lego Rock band, Warner Brothers today confirmed that Lego Harry Potter is being developed by Travellers Tales.Lego Harry Potter will let you take control of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger the three main characters of the series as you wander the halls of Hogwarts School of Wizardry, taking you on the many adventures found throughout the books taking you from the dungeons of the school to the magical towns based in this fantasy world.
The title is being aptly subtitled, "Years 1-4" as it is set around the first four books in the series, The Philosopher's Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire which take place over the first four years of Harry Potters education in Hogwarts.
Travellers Tales will be developing Lego Harry Potter, and have already a long line of previous Lego games, including the Lego Star Wars games, Lego Batman, Lego Indiana Jones, and to be released, Lego Rock Band.
They have managed over the years to bring other franchises into the Lego world and create popular family friendly games that can be played by all ages, even some adults.
The game is slated for release in 2010, and while no platforms have been announced, previous games have been released on any feasible platforms at the time fo release.
