- a) This is old--if I thought it were news I would have posted it, and,
b) Visio 2003 Beta can be downloaded with the Office B2 Refresh. -

- Just an FYI...this one has a new file format...so if you share with non 2003 users or uninstall this later, all modified files will have to be resaved in the older version.

- Envision a MS version of Rational Rose but much crappier and you have Visio 2003.

- rational rose is for specifically creating UML diagrams and so is very good for creating class diagrams and use case diagrams, Visio however has a much broader scope to allow you to create a wide range of diagrams. Both are good at what they are designed for.

Microsoft Office Visio® 2003 gives business and technical users the power to visualize and communicate ideas, information, and systems. Use the simple, flexible tools in Visio 2003 to easily create business and technical charts and graphics that capture your inspiration and communicate it with impact.
Other features include an optional automatic SMS sent every time a child moves from zone to zone. "Both tag and access point can be adjusted in range," Lund said. "Entrance points can be accurate down to two to three meters, but larger zones can be set and can overlap to improve precision."
Lund said pricing for the tags would be set by the location's owners, and could factor in a per-SMS charge if appropriate. "The software in the system can track up to 100,000 tags, but the current hardware is limited to around 2,000. We're also looking at other sorts of places, such as airports and hospitals," Lund said.
BlueTag expects the first deployment of the system in the United Kingdom to take place before the end of 2003.
