The Windows Vista Tour bus started with Bink.nu's Ryan Hoffman on it and of course Microsoft own Nick White!

(Here is Ryan already promoting Vista) and > inside the bus, four flat-panel TVs with satellite reception, wireless Internet throughout

Vista ROCKS!

I'm going to the Microsoft Across America event in Charlotte Thursday. I hear that we're getting a copy of Office 2007 as part of our SWAG.

Am!no

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a weiner.
#5.2 trashpickinman on 17 Jan 2007 - 02:44
I was wondering what kind of software they're giving away. I got Office 2003 at the last lauch event. Of course I'll be grateful for anything I get.
#6 Arcticflare on 17 Jan 2007 - 01:26
"Oooh, look at all this swag! I'm SOLD! Can I have an ice cream? Dhuuuurrrr...", said the moron.
#7 ambiance on 17 Jan 2007 - 01:26
Maybe if I hijack it I can negotiate a free copy of Vista Ultimate.

Hah! That give me an idea: I'm making an identical copy of this bus, putting a loudspeaker on top that plays the Windows Vista startup music, and then I'm gonna drive it around and hand out free copies of Linux that have been cleverly disguised as Vista. The fools won't know what hit them.

I laughed at this but only the fact that the only way to get people to use linux is to decieve them.

This is kind of sad considering it appears there's a general lack of interest in Vista. I know I personally couldn't care less about it.

What, no crash jokes?

Someone should Hijack that thing and install desktop linux on all the machines. As a bonus, they could set up Beryl.

I do like how they have just dressed up an old bus!

It is nice inside though!

But yeah, eggs — they could be in trouble!

Holy crap. I want one.

Needs spinners, a skydeck and groundlight. But seriously, that's insane. Get that minibar and jacuzzi workin' and you've got yourself a real shaggin' wagon.
#20 jameseuk on 17 Jan 2007 - 04:23
That bus is well ugly, reminds me of a US school bus from the outside
#21 JR007 on 17 Jan 2007 - 04:59
What cities are they visiting?
#22 Alphanumeric on 17 Jan 2007 - 05:25
I wonder how long it takes to start up??
#23 Shadow XL on 17 Jan 2007 - 06:55
haha reminds me of the scooby-doo wagon, but instead of the mystery machine its the geek machine... i can see an advertising promotion of the "Safe" vista now, a virus walks out of the bus going i would have gotten away with it if it wasnt for you meddling vista.
#24 Jugalator on 17 Jan 2007 - 07:51
Weee! I wanna ride the Vista bus! Haha... :p
#25 ZombieFly on 17 Jan 2007 - 08:09

#26 Sniper101 on 17 Jan 2007 - 08:12

#27 +Chicane-UK on 17 Jan 2007 - 08:40
I hope they've got some good drivers.. I know I had problems with crashing when I had bad drivers!

Guffaw guffaw!
#28 lbmouse on 17 Jan 2007 - 14:58
It's fitting that the Windows Vista Tour bus is just a regular bus with a superficial face lift.

Seriously though, it's kind of sad when MS has to resort to the same type of marketing gimmick that sells hot dogs. Are they worried that the product won't succeed on it's own merits?
#29 Sp3ctranova on 18 Jan 2007 - 17:27
I don't wanna cause no fuss,

but can I buy your magic bus?
