Gotta love fanboys.
Gotta love fanboys.
It's so obvious there's no need for an "exhaustive comparison". Unless of course you're "mentally challenged"...

Impulse offers more than just games unlike Steam. Now, do I need the 'more' stuff? I dont need any Stardock stuff and any non-stardock that Impulse offers I would buy somewhere else.
I use both. Steam for CS and Left4Dead and Impulse for Sins of a Solar Empire and Object Desktop updates.
Impulse is lighter, faster, doesn't require to be running to use the software, loads much faster, uses less screen space, supports more types of software.
Steam has Xfire type features built in like better friends lists. I have Xfire so I have no need for those features.
I could see someone prefering one over the other but taking tiem out to say one "sucks" reeks of fanboyism. They're just software installers at their core. Woopie doo.
Even if these were good deals, witch they are not, it still should not be front page news.
