Yesterday, Microsoft sent out invites to a press event to be held in New York City on October 6, at which it will unveil a range of new products, including its new Lumia 950 and 950 XL flagships, its second-gen Band wearable device, and the long-awaited Surface Pro 4 tablet.
The current Surface Pro 3 first went on sale 15 months ago, and with its replacement on the horizon, Microsoft has been offering plenty of deals on the device lately to help clear remaining stocks. Over in the UK, the company is currently offering more price cuts on its flagship Windows device.
Two weeks ago, Microsoft slashed up to £200 off the cost of its Pro 3 in the UK. Today, the Intel Core i7 models are being offered with 15% off, providing even larger discounts than those offered earlier this month:
- 256GB / 8GB RAM | usually £1299 | now £1104.15 | save £194.85
- 512GB / 8GB RAM | usually £1549 | now £1316.65 | save £232.35
The 15% discount also extends to the Surface Pro 3's Type Cover, which is currently priced at £93.49, down from its regular £109.99 price.
However, if you're thinking about taking advantage of this offer, don't wait too long - as Microsoft's tweet shows, these prices are available for today only. Still, with the new Surface Pro 4 on the horizon, it probably won't be too long before the Pro 3 gets another round of discounts...
