Microsoft's latest Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview, build 10512, began rolling out today - and as expected, there's not much in the way of new features (although there are, of course, various known issues to deal with). However, it looks like the next build will bring some changes for the new Microsoft Edge browser.
Microsoft said last month that Windows 10 Mobile is now "significantly feature complete", adding that future builds will focus primarily on improvements to the user experience and overall stability enhancements. But the company didn't completely rule out the possibility of new features being added to future builds ahead of launch.
Shortly after Microsoft's announcement today regarding build 10512's release, Jacob Rossi - an engineer on the Edge browser development team - acknowledged the rollout in a tweet, which also hinted at something on the way to Windows 10 Mobile:
Rossi was evidently being a bit playful with his tweet, and didn't give too much away. But it looks like we'll see some notable improvements - and perhaps one or two exciting additions - to the Edge browser in the next Insider Preview. When exactly the next Windows 10 Mobile build will land is anyone's guess - but hey, it's nice to have something to look forward to.
