The XNA Framework redistributable provides the necessary runtime components to execute a game on Windows that was developed using XNA Game Studio Express Beta2. Installation of this runtime is not necessary on systems that already have XNA Game Studio Express Beta2 installed. The redistributable is for Beta testing purposes only and is not intended for actual distribution with your application.

I forgot so please forgive me for asking again: Other than hacking the files, would this or any upcoming runtime release allow Vista's games (solitare, majong, etc.) to be run in XP?

Dosen't Microsoft have something where you just click on the company whose games you want and drag them into an "Acquire" folder?
