i used to love quicktime alternative but there recent version seems messed up as the MPC version that comes with it is buggy and you cant use the new quicktime codecs in it with the older version of media player classic... so i said screw it and ended up dealing with the official quicktime program

Open up your QT preferences under Advanced and either select "Safe Mode" or disable both of the DirectDraw options. See if that helps.

That used to happen to me, but upgrading to Vista six months ago seemed to have fixed it.

Firefox is awesome-no doubt. Better than Opera and safari and any other kinda browser wannabe out there. As for the quicktime problem-don't use quicktime. I'm Not an Apple supporter-if I wanted to spend 5,000.00 for a single MAC it should have the latest version of Java available for it's latest OS.

I think all this post needed was for you to complain about George Bush in order to troll under every topic I can think of.

i would like to not use it ... but i think most people are sorta forced to use it since theres a moderate amount of stuff that uses it out there same with Macromedia Flash.

if i had a choice i wish there would be one (maybe 2 tops) standard and that it would be CPU efficient etc etc... but thats probably not going to happen. lol, o well...
