Apple has decided to start selling the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the US without a functioning blood oxygen feature, to avoid a new US import ban on the smartwatches.

The ban on the sale of both the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 will be reinstated on Thursday which follows a new court order from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
A recent filing showcases that Apple is trying to avoid further bans on its Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 models' sales in the US. It is now removing the pulse oximeter technology in recent models.
