Microsoft has released the build 10166 of the Windows 10 Preview SDK for developers.
The latest Preview SDK from Microsoft features bug fixes and improvements, in addition to the latest emulator images for Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft hasn't detailed all the changes that are part of this build as it did with the previous release, except for the inclusion of additional getter properties in Windows.ApplicationModel.Email.
Microsoft has recommended that developers uninstall previous versions of the Windows 10 Mobile emulators to avoid clutter in Visual Studio while testing out the apps. Those who have skipped a few SDK builds since 10069/10074 will need to install AppVerifier in order to ensure the older version uninstalls properly before upgrading to 10166. Following the upgrade, developers will need to update the target versions for their projects wherever necessary.
The Windows 10 Preview of build 10166 went live earlier today but enthusiasts who wish to try out the latest mobile emulator can also grab the SDK from the Windows 10 developer tools site and explore the new features that haven't yet been revealed.
