007 Legends trailer confirms Moonraker mission

A few weeks ago, Activision announced it would publish 007 Legends, the latest game in its James Bond franchise. The game will not only feature missions tied into the upcoming next Bond film Skyfall but also missions based on six classic 007 movies. Today, the first gameplay trailer for 007 Legends was released, alongside the first Skyfall movie trailer.

After you watch the very cool Skyfall footage, the 007 Legends trailer takes over and shows that Bond will be going into space; yes, the 1979 film Moonraker is the first of the six classic Bond movies that will be depicted in the game, to be developed by Eurocom.

The footage shows off, among other things, gameplay based on the final sequence in the movie, where Bond takes a space shuttle up to the Moonraker space station, where super rich super villain Hugo Drax plans to kill off everyone on Earth and replace them with his super race of humans. Oh, and Jaws is also on the space station, ready and able to bend steel with his arms and bite off your neck with his metal teeth.

Hopefully we will get to see more of the game at E3 in June before 007 Legends is released on October 16 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
