6 year old finds porn on PSP

Tamatha Tovar bought her son a late Christmas present over the Easter weekend, a brand new PSP from Wal-Mart in Manatee County, Florida reports myfoxboston.

When 6 year old Eliso turned on the PSP for the first time however, the background had been set to a picture of a naked woman. Frightened he would be grounded Eliso ran to his mum crying to show her. Tamatha then found a memory card in the PSP filled with pornographic material which she claims is not hers and was already in the box.

In shock Tamatha phoned Wal-Mart asking to speak with the manager and explain the situation.

"I explained the situation and his response was, "well, bring the machine down and we"ll let your son pick out a new game," Tamatha then continued to say "and I was like, no I don"t think you heard what I said."

A spokesperson for Wal-Mart has said they are looking into what happened and they were concerned over the matter. Ms Tovar has told Wal-Mart she wants a new PSP to replace the one she bought and an apology from the company.

Cases like this are sadly not unheard of and it was only in March where Sony received bad publicity after a Kentucky man was accused of trying to persuade an 11 year old Humble girl to send him nude photos while they played games online together. Neowin"s Garrett Dodd covered the story back in March.
