8-Bit Bayonetta is now available on Steam

Bayonetta was originally released seven years ago and is widely considered an excellent title that offered impressive visuals, a superb soundtrack, and fun combat system. The sequel would arrive as an exclusive to the Wii U a few years later and would also gain rave reviews. While these previous titles were exclusive to consoles, the latest Bayonetta title is being released on PC for free.

Unfortunately, the title is probably not what you were hoping for and is developer Platinum Games just having a bit of fun. 8-Bit Bayonetta made its debut yesterday on Steam and is a pixel art shooter that offers a chiptune soundtrack. The game isn"t anything fancy, only requiring the player to shoot and jump. While it might seem simple, the game can become fairly challenging, but also offers the added incentives like the various achievements that can be claimed.

If you"d like to give the game a try, you can download it for free directly from Steam. If the endless shooter genre isn"t quite your thing, you can always check out the various deals that are available for a wide variety of other titles.
