8bitdo breathes new life into old controllers, giving them the ability to go wireless

There are many different options when it comes to wireless controllers, but 8bitdo makes a wide range of models that offer excellent quality builds and designs that pay homage to controllers from gaming"s past. The company is now branching out its controller business, offering kits that will convert your old wired controllers from a few classic consoles and make them wireless.

The kits can be used with controllers from the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo, giving them a new breath of life. The modded wireless controllers are compatible with Windows and Mac PCs, the Nintendo Switch, and the Raspberry Pi.

The kits won"t come cheap, however, as each one is priced at $19.99. Although the price of the kit might raise some eyebrows, what you are paying for here is the ease and convenience. There is no soldering required and you simply screw the parts in place with the included tools.

As mentioned before, the company has made three classic controller kits available. However, mod kits for the NES and SNES Classic Edition controllers are available at the same price as well.
