A free Google Home is in store for those ordering an LG G6

Although the LG G6 was announced last month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the firm wasn"t quite clear on the device"s price, but did offer a US release window set sometime in April. While we wait for more information, we will have to settle for a new promotional page that has surfaced on the LG website that promises a free Google Home to those that purchase a G6.

The firm"s tactic of offering freebies with its handsets is nothing new. Previously, the LG G5 came with extra accessories, while the more recently released V20 offered free Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 headphones. This time it appears that the company will be giving away a free Google Home powered by Google Assistant, offering a means to communicate with connected devices and services.

Naturally, the Google Home promotion will only be available for a limited time, and only in the United States. If you are planning to purchase the handset, it might be wise to navigate to the LG website in the source link below and sign up to be notified when the promotion goes live. While we patiently for the G6 to arrive, be sure to check out our hands-on and first impressions of the device.
