The Xiaomi-funded Black Shark Technologies is planning to release its first smartphone to the public and has an event planned for April 13. While the details have been quite scarce, it looks like we could be getting our first look at the handset, if a new image that surfaced is to be believed.
The image shows off what looks to be the rear of the handset. It has a green "S" emblem, shows the camera sensors, and also what looks like a controller attachment on the top. This would make sense, considering that the phone is said to be aimed at gamers, much like the Razer Phone. Judging by the image, the phone looks quite thick but this could just be some kind of casing. As you might notice, there also doesn"t appear to be a fingerprint reader on the rear. The note on the image from Weibo states that the handset will arrive with an in-display fingerprint reader, OLED display, and also surround sound.
By contrast, the front of the handset that was revealed in a teaser image showed off something that could look quite sleek. It will be interesting to see what is finally revealed at the end of this week.
