A Lock Occurs Between Two Threads of System GDI in Win2k

Thanks prasanth again for this. Please note that SP2 for Windows 2000 must be installed before you can setup the patch.

Symptoms: If a user process saves or makes EUDC with the EnableEUDC API, your computer may stop responding (hang).

Cause: This problem may occur if a lock occurs between one drawing process and another drawing process. One thread of the first process is waiting on a lock that is held by another thread of the second process. The second process is also waiting on a lock that is held by the first thread.

Affected Software: Windows 2000 SP2 Professional/Server/Advance Server
