A permanent fix is coming to remedy the charging issue found on Apple's new iPhones

It looks like Apple is well aware of the charging issue found on some of its newer iPhones. Not only does the new beta update bring more emojis but iOS 12 beta 2 also offers a fix for the charging issue found on the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max.

If you are unaware of the problem, some iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max are unable to charge when plugged in to charge. This seems to most commonly occur when the phones are plugged while in a dormant state. Oddly enough, in order to get it working, you only have to tap the phone awake, at which point it will register that the charging cable is plugged in and it will begin charging. A simple yet annoying fix, but this is definitely good news for anyone who is experiencing the issue. Luckily, a permanent fix is on the way.

While it"s okay to celebrate, remember that this fix is currently only available in the beta. Apple has a pretty good track record of getting out updates once the betas prove to be stable, so it shouldn"t be long before it arrives to all users. But for now, you"ll have to deal with the charging problems for just a little while longer.
