AdDuplex released its monthly Windows 10 usage report today, which is based on about 5,000 Microsoft Store apps that use AdDuplex SDK v.2 and higher. The data was collected on March 25.
Unsurprisingly, not a lot has changed from last month"s report. As you"d expect, Windows 10 version 1909 usage has increased, from 22.6% to 28.2%. Version 1903"s usage has declined from 52.6% to 50.7%, and 1809 usage declined from 16.4% to 11.4%.
Interestingly, version 1803 increased from 4.9% to 5.5%, 1709 increased from 1.2% to 1.4%, and older versions increased from 1.7% to 2.2%. AdDuplex speculated that this might be due to the increased amount of people being home, and booting up older PCs. The number of Insiders remained the same.
Windows 10 version 1909 adoption has pretty much been a straight line. This might be the new normal, since Microsoft no longer forces users to accept feature updates.
That"s all there is for the report. Occasionally, AdDuplex includes a report on Surface hardware usage, but there"s no such data this month.
