All quiet on the eastern digital front

Yesterday at approx 10:30am disaster rocked a small house in nothern New Brunswick. When I awoke I made my way over to my computer as I habitualy do every morning, pressed the power button, and was horfficly greeted by the acrid smell of burnt silicon and clouds of smoke rising from a once proud computer.

My PIII 733 died yesterday as a result of a molten southbridge. Although the specifics of how this disaster has occured are still yet unknown, an autopsy by Todd Guitar of GENCOM computers, suspects power spike may be to blame.

Unfortunatly due to this accident I will have to take a leave of absence from neowin.net. this community has been my home for the last 5 months, and it will be sad without them.

Any contributions that you would wish to make towards the relief this digital disaster would be greatly appriciated.
