Alleged Geforce GTX 1660 Ti Ashes of the Singularity benchmark scores leaked

Less than a week ago, Videocardz.com reported about the existence of an alleged GTX 1660 Ti which will be devoid of the real-time ray-tracing-capable RT and Tensor cores that are present on RTX cards. Today the new alleged card seems to have made an appearance on the Ashes of the Singularity benchmark database. It has managed to score 7400 points on the 1080p High preset which is 1200 points higher than the Pascal-based GTX 1060. The scores do make sense since the 1660 Ti is said to feature 1536 CUDA cores, which is 256 more than the 1060"s 1280.

The rumored specs of the 1660 Ti are detailed below:

  • Architecture: TU116 based on Turing
  • Lithography: 12nm FF
  • CUDA Cores: 1536
  • Tensor cores: N/A
  • RT cores: N/A
  • 6GB GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit wide bus

Videocardz also seems to have received confirmation about the potential launch of the 1660 TI next month, alongside the possibility of a cut-down GTX 1660 (non-Ti) GDDR5X model, simultaneously.
