Amazon is cooperating with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to voluntarily recall six models of its AmazonBasics Portable Power Banks that were sold between December 2014 and July 2017 in the U.S. and Canada. These models have a high risk of overheating, and thus present a fire hazard.
The affected power banks range from 2,000mAh to 16,100mAh:

Those who purchased any of these products should receive an email from Amazon with instructions on how they can begin the refund and return process. Alternatively, users can also visit this page directly and fill the form or contact customer service at 1 (855) 215-5134 between 8am to 5pm ET Monday through Saturday.
If you do have one of the products in possession, Amazon advises to unplug and stop using the devices immediately.
