AMD Radeon 19.11.2 driver has Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order support

AMD today pushed out the second graphics driver update of the month, Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.11.2, for its GPU lineup, and it is delivering support for another big PC release, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

The Respawn Entertainment-developed single-player adventure game is releasing tomorrow, November 15, with the PC version heading to both Origin and Steam. AMD doesn"t detail any changes or improvements this driver will make to the experience, but it is a recommended install for graphics card owners on the red team who will be playing the Star Wars title.

As the previous driver, carrying Red Dead Redemption 2 support, arrived just over a week ago, it seems AMD didn"t have much time for bug fixes. There"s only a single resolved issue in this release, though there are some known issues to keep an eye out for:

Fixed Issues

  • Some specific map areas or cities in Player Unknown’s: Battlegrounds™ may intermittently experience stutter or performance drops.

Known Issues

  • Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products may intermittently experience loss of display or video signal during gameplay.
  • Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products may experience stutter in some games at 1080p and low game settings.
  • Performance Metrics Overlay may cause stutter or screen flashing on some applications.
  • Toggling HDR may cause system instability during gaming when Radeon ReLive is enabled.
  • AMD Radeon VII may experience elevated memory clocks at idle or on desktop.
  • Performance Metrics Overlay may report incorrect VRAM utilization.
  • Invoking Radeon Overlay may cause games to lose focus or become minimized when HDR is enabled within Windows®.

The Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.11.2 driver is available to download via the links on its official release notes page. Those looking for an easy upgrade can also use the Radeon Settings app on Windows.
