With the increase in yield come significant cost benefits which should lower the price of 3xxx series graphics cards making AMD more competitive against Nvidia.
The company is also planning to launch a second dual-GPU solution, the Radeon HD 3850 X2, in May, to compliment the already shipping 3870 X2. With an expected price tag of US$299-379.
