After extended maintenance work on the site today, Neowin is back online and upgraded to IP.Board 2.2.1. We thank our members for their patience, many of whom made the IRC channel very lively over the downtime.
Some new features introduced with IP.Board 2.2.1 require additional testing and so are disabled for the time being: in addition, multiple colour schemes for the Swift design will be introduced once bugs are ironed out with the current skin.
Thanks go to the Neowin coder team, consisting of DaveLegg, Rob and Timan, who have worked hard to update the site with a refreshed Swift design. Dave has concentrated mainly on the back-end programming, Rob on the new graphics, and Timan on the skinning. Thanks also to Redmak for his help in the upgrading process earlier today.
The forum skin for the Shift theme is still in development, but the priority was to introduce the security and feature benefits of IP.Board 2.2.1 as quickly as possible for our members. Minor bugs have been fixed on the front page, and the Events Blog skinned with the Shift theme ready for CES coverage.
As usual, please use the Bug Tracker forum to report any bugs you may find.
