HMD Global began rolling out the Android 10 update to the Nokia 4.2 and 3.2 a couple of weeks ago, but the company was clear in revealing which markets should expect to get the update in the initial wave of the release. Now, the second wave has started, expanding the update to a few more markets for both of these phones.
Pending approvals in each of the markets, the Android 10 will be available for the Nokia 4.2 in the following regions and carriers:
Bulgaria – Vivacom | Chile | Colombia – Claro and Movistar |
Czech Republic – T-Mobile and O2 | Ecuador – Movistar | El Salvador – Claro |
France – Orange | Germany – Telekom | Greece – Cosmote |
Guatemala – Claro | Honduras – Claro | Hungary – Magyar Telekom |
Italy – TIM | Macedonia – T-Mobile | Mexico – Movistar and AT&T |
New Zealand | Nicaragua – Claro | Poland – T-Mobile and Orange |
Romania – Telekom RO, OR RO, VF RO and DiGi Ro | Slovakia – Slovak Telekom | UK |
The update will be available to 10% of users in these markets by today, 50% of users by April 24, and finally, to everyone by April 26.
As for the Nokia 3.2, the expansion is much smaller, reaching just three new markets in wave 2:
-
Bulgaria - Vivacom
-
Ireland
-
UK
Again, the rollout here is gradual, with 10% of users getting the update today. By April 23, it will be available to 50% of users, and on April 25, everyone in these markets should be able to get the update.
There are still some Nokia smartphone models waiting for the update to be released, including the Nokia 2.3 and 3.1 Plus, which should be next on the list according to HMD"s roadmap.
