Android 10 is now rolling out to the Nokia 7.1

HMD Global, the company responsible for making Nokia-branded smartphones these days, has announced that it"s now rolling out Android 10 to the Nokia 7.1. This is the second of the company"s smartphones to receive the upgrade, following its release for the Nokia 8.1. That device was also part of the beta program for Android 10, so it makes sense that it got it first.

Nokia has typically been one of the faster companies to release Android updates for its devices, and though it"s not the fastest, the Finnish company is still doing well in this regard. This should be expected since most of its phones are part of the Android One program and come with a fairly clean build of Android.

Nokia 7.1 is now ready to get a performance upgrade with the latest Android 10 update. Unlock your phone’s upgraded experience and access the latest features today.

Android 10 was officially released in September for Pixel devices, and it includes some major improvements, like a true, system-wide dark mode. There"s also a whole new gesture navigation system that replaces the pill-shaped button that came with Android Pie, improvements to Smart Reply, and much more.

The update will likely be rolling out to specific markets at first and expanding over time. Our test device doesn"t seem to be able to find the update at this point, but it should happen sooner than later now.
