Early this month, Google had announced that it would be hosting the Android 11 beta launch show on June 3 where it was going to reveal more details about Android 11 and launch its beta program. The company was supposed to release the first beta of Android 11 in May itself but delayed it to early June. Now, Google has just announced that it is further delaying the Android 11 beta launch show.
We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate. We are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We"ll be back with more on Android 11, soon.

The reason behind the delay is unclear as of now. There"s also no clarity on when Google plans on releasing the first beta of Android 11 now. It was rumored that Google was also going to announce the Pixel 4a at the Android 11 beta launch show. With the event postponed, that is now not going to happen. A rumor from last week had claimed that Google was delaying the Pixel 4a launch to July despite the handset being ready to ship.
Google has so far released three Developer Preview builds of Android 11 and despite the delay, the OS is still on track for a Q3 release.
