Last week, Samsung began rolling out the very latest version of Android (excluding the Android M Developer Preview) to its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and the first of these handsets to receive the update were those sold by T-Mobile.
Now, T-Mo has released Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for last year"s Samsung flagship, the Galaxy S5.
There"s no official changelog for the carrier"s 5.1.1 update, but as SamMobile reports, you should expect some performance enhancements and RAW imaging support, along with various bug fixes.
Android 5.1.1 will begin rolling out to T-Mobile"s Galaxy S5 today, but as ever, bear in mind that it may take a few days before all eligible handsets receive the update prompt, so if you don"t see the update immediately, give it a bit longer before you throw your arms up in total panic.
Samsung hasn"t yet revealed when other Galaxy S5 handsets can expect to get this latest update, but it"s likely to make its way to others in the days and weeks ahead.
