After beginning the rollout of the latest Marshmallow update to its Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in February, Samsung has expanded availability to the devices on more carriers and in various markets around the world in recent weeks.
Now, it"s Canada turn. As MobileSyrup reports, Android 6.0.1 has started to make its way there, starting with both devices on Eastlink; and, for the S6 edge specifically, on Bell.
Telus customers with the S6 edge can look forward to the arrival of Marshmallow from tomorrow, while those who own a Galaxy S6 from the same carrier will begin to see the update from April 18.
Bear in mind that over-the-air updates tend to roll out in "waves", so it may take a bit of time before all eligible handsets are able to install the update.
Google released Android 6.0 Marshmallow six months ago, but so far, just 4.6% of devices are running that version of the OS - and Android 7.0 is already on the horizon.
