It"s been a month since Samsung began rolling out Marshmallow to international variants of its Galaxy S5. In recent weeks, the update has made its way to the handset in various markets, including India and the United States.
Now, it"s Germany"s turn: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has been released there for the SM-G900F variant - the most widely available version of the Galaxy S5. The update weighs in at around 870MB.
As ever with over-the-air rollouts, the update won"t be available for all eligible handsets at once. It may take a few days - perhaps even weeks - before all of those devices can get a taste of that sweet Marshmallow goodness, so if it doesn"t appear immediately for your Galaxy S5 in Germany, be patient.
After all, it"s been over six months since Google originally released Marshmallow - having made it this far, you can hang in there for a few more weeks.
