Samsung"s rollout of the Marshmallow update continues to reach new devices, and the latest to be upgraded is its Galaxy Note 4 in Germany. The company began upgrading the Note 4 internationally a few weeks ago; so far, the largest market in which the handset has received the update is India.
German owners of the high-end handset can now look forward to getting their hands on the latest Android release. Currently, the update is only making its way to the unlocked Galaxy Note 4 there, but its availability will pave the way for mobile operators in Germany to upgrade their devices in the coming weeks.
Weighing in at 1.29GB, the update bumps the Note 4 up to Android 6.0.1, and according to the release notes, it also includes:
- Exercise greater control over app permissions
- Purchase easily and securely with Fingerprint support
- Experience enhanced battery-life through Doze
- Redesigned App Drawer
Remember that over-the-air updates tend to be released in "waves", so if you don"t yet see Marshmallow available for your unlocked Galaxy Note 4 in Germany, there"s no need to worry just yet.
