Android 7.0 Nougat has been available since August, but so far, it"s made its way to just 0.3% of active devices. It"s starting to roll out to more devices now though; after reaching the Moto Z and Z Force - including the Droid variants on Verizon - this week, it"s now available for another handset.
The Nougat update has been released for LG"s G5 flagship on Sprint. It includes user interface tweaks in line with Nougat on the LG V20, and comes with the various additions and improvements that Google baked into Android 7.0, along with a few other features, such as DPI customization.
The update is around 1.3GB in size, and also includes the Android security patches for November.
LG began its Nougat rollout for the G5 in its home market of South Korea earlier this month, but as with all Android updates, it"s likely to take a while before it reaches all handsets around the world.
