Android 7.0 Nougat will roll out to Verizon's HTC 10 on Thursday

It"s been over four months since HTC began releasing Android 7.0 Nougat to unlocked models of its flagship 10, but today, the company announced that it will be rolling out to the Verizon variant of the handset tomorrow. Mo Versi, VP of Product Management at the firm, tweeted the following:

HTC 10 Verizon owners! Greatly appreciate all your patience and support. N OS is here! We have TA and OTA to start on Thur 3/30. Thank you!

Over the last few months, various carriers and regions have begun offering the update for the device. Sprint released it just over a month ago, and Indian users saw it a few days later.

Of course, Android Nougat itself was released over seven months ago, and as of earlier this month, is installed on just 2.8% of Google Play Android devices. To make matters worse, the latest version of the OS is actually Android 7.1, which is only installed on 0.4% of devices. Google also announced the next major version of the operating system, Android O, which is slated for a Q3 release.
