Android Pay now supports over 860 US banks and credit unions in latest update

Google"s wireless payment system, that was released back in 2015, just received a major bank expansion update with a sizeable 60 new US banks being added to Android Pay, bringing the total up to 867 institutions spanning 1st Advantage FCU through to Zions Bank.

While the major banks have already been added to popular mobile payment platform, the latest tranche seems to be largely comprised of smaller banks and credit unions.
