Anno 1800 is now on track to receive another round of DLC packs, with Ubisoft announcing Season 2 Pass today that aims to deliver new features and content to the game throughout 2020. The studio also announced that Anno 1800 had passed the one-million player mark in December 2019, nine months after the launch.
The second season of content to the game kicks off on March 24 with the Seat of Power DLC, which will add a modular palace project that players may build on their islands. The departments that are chosen and built into the palace will have policies that affect buildings in its vicinity.
Following that, Bright Harvest will land in summer this year, bringing in tractor modules to farms that both increase productivity and reduce the workforce required to keep things running. Finally, Land of Lions will arrive as the third DLC later in the year, the biggest pack of the bunch. This will add a new desert continent, citizen tiers, buildings, trade goods, and quests to tackle. As water will be scarce, players will be utilizing canals to spread what"s available. More details on the second and third DLC packs will arrive as they get closer to launch.
Anno 1800"s Season 2 Pass, giving access to all three DLC packs, is now available for pre-purchase on Uplay, Epic Games Store, and Steam with a $24.99 price tag. Of course, only Anno 1800 owners on Steam that already own the game - those that bought it before it was pulled from the store - can find and purchase the DLC on the platform.
Sharing some stats on the over one million players that now have settlements in Anno 1800, Ubisoft revealed that over 22 million islands have been settled, where over 44 billion people now reside. Celebrating the milestone, the developer has added a free ornament dedicated to the community in the latest 6.4 game update, which is available today.
