AOC recently launched a new monitor aimed at the gaming community. The ARGON AG352QCX, a curved 35-inch display, packs in the latest standards and an array of accessibility options.
The 21:9 format MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) panel features a 2560 x 1080 resolution, a refresh rate of 200 Hz and a response time of 4ms grey-to-grey (GTG). AOG claims that "with a radius of 2000 mm, it is more curved than other monitors, providing the highest level of immersion you can get."
The monitor supports adaptive sync tech, which AOC says will reduce “image tearing, stuttering, input lag or blur.” It also claims that the monitor can display 16.7 million colors, a brightness of 300 cd/m², as well as a 178-degree viewing angle. The display is adjustable via height, swivel and tilt.
Standard connection options include HDMI, Displayport, MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) and two USB 3.0 ports, while a Kensington Lock rounds out the list. Consumers will receive a HDMI, DisplayPort, and audio cable in the box as well.
The monitor is scheduled for a December launch in Europe at a price of £699 GBP ($870 USD). Details on a release outside of Europe are currently unknown.
